Our History

Sonvio started in 2016 as a direct solution to a healthcare crisis at The Village Church in Dallas. Traditional health insurance was becoming entirely unaffordable, even for a megachurch. What began as Sonshine Solutions (now Sonvio) was born out of a unique approach: looking at ACA-compliant health coverage through the lens of strategic partnerships rather than standard, rigid group policies.
Within the first few years of implementing this model, The Village Church experienced remarkable results:

  • $900,000 in total church savings

  • $200,000 in direct employee savings

  • Improved overall coverage with lower deductibles and zero copays

  • Greater control for the church over its own health plan

  • Resources redirected right back into the ministry and staff

Today, Sonvio streamlines processes, adds vital resources, and provides ongoing healthcare support for organizations on a kingdom mission with Christ.
